Mayweather-Pacquiao prediction: Manny will get schooled by Floyd
By Manuel Perez: I have to say that I’m really looking forward to seeing the March 13th bout between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pacquiao has been feasting on hand picked opponents for the past year, and will finally be forced to fight someone good for a change. It’s going to be sad to see Pacquiao take a vicious beating from Mayweather, but what can you do?
This is the by product of stepping in the ring with an excellent boxer instead of fighters that punch compromised like Ricky Hatton or beaten down ones like Miguel Cotto. Pacquiao has given the illusion of being a super talented fighter, I think, because of the careful match making that he’s had going for him. Instead of putting Pacquiao in with the best welterweight in the division in the place of Shane Mosley, Pacquiao instead was steered towards the recently beaten Cotto, who had been stopped in the 11th round in a horrible beating by proud Mexican Antonio Margarito only a year earlier.
Since that loss, Cotto hadn’t looked like the same fighter, which is what makes it so sad that he was selected to fight Pacquiao instead of Mosley. It reeks of cherry picking through and through. I can’t stand when fighters cherry pick to find beatable fighters. I think if Pacquiao had fought Mosley at welterweight, we wouldn’t even be bothering talking about a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, because Pacquiao would have been beaten.
Pacquiao may have gotten away with beating hand picked opponents Cotto, Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya, but on March 13th, Pacquiao will have to finally face a good fighter in the way of 32-year-old Mayweather. And by putting off facing still lethal fighters, Pacquiao will be sloppy and and vulnerable against the much more talented Mayweather.
Pacquiao is going to literally get the stuffing beaten out of him on March 13th. He’s going to take his wild out of control style of fighting and be worked over by the boxing extraordinaire Mayweather. This is going to be fun to watch. I hope Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, is ready to stop the fight at some point because it’s going to be a hopeless slaughter.
Mayweather is light years better than Pacquiao is talent wise, and he’s going to make an example of Pacquiao by beating him one side of the ring to another in front of a huge world wide audience. They’re talking about this fight earning as much as $100 million.
I can’t say that it will be worth it. I think Mayweather is worth it, but Pacquiao won’t be when he starts taking an early beating. This is going to be a huge let down fight for those who were hoping to see a close contest. I’ll be happy, especially when Mayweather starts busting Pacquiao up. It’s going to be priceless to see the look on Roach’s face when he sees his star fighter Pacquiao begin to take a one-sided beating. But that’s the way it goes.

Pure garbage! Hand picked fighters? Mayweather dodged Cotto and fought Hoya and Hatton, were those hand picked for him? Or what about Victor Ortiz? Legit or hand picked? I definitely would love to see this fight, but your analysis sounds kind of stupid, “Out of control style” do you even watch boxing?
Mayweather is the undefeated fighter, no doubt about it, that is before 13 March 2010. Pacquiao will grab that belt out of Mayweather and can’t do anything about it. Pacquiao patience will take Mayweather rattling for survival in every rounds after the 2nd round with exclamation!. I advise Mayweather to start learning humbleness for Paquiao will humble him eventually at the end of the fight. Mayweather must accept that Pacquiao will make unprecedented boxing history. Mayweather will face an enormous pressure from the public, while Pacquiao will have to finish his job step by step taking advantage in every round not mentioning the sudden scary KO punch, until the last round.
what a load of shit. Manny’s out of control boxing style? or your out of control boxing analysis? You are a sad kind of comedian & Floyd has always been a joke. i hope your poor little heart break when that vague wannabe greater than muhammad ali floyd the void hits the canvas.
I think mayweather is going to win the fight because he is slick faster better exprience. And i think paquio still has a chance but mayweather is going to win is going to be a good fight it’s worth watching
